Dobie Doodle

I recently discovered something- it's called Ramseyandpablo.com.

It's just another blog about dogs, but it features the most adorable Doberman, Chihuahua, and Pitbull trio you'll ever see. If you like animals, you have to see the videos and photos there...especially if you still imagine Dobies as vicious.

I now desperately want one.

ANYWAY. I was thinking about what seems to be the typical doberman personality, and began to picture a doberman anthro. Most people would probably cast them as the tough guys, or brainless henchmen. But after watching Ramsey (and some other dobies later on) I began to picture them more like those awkward, quiet kids who get a lot of growth spurts and tower over their friends while looking like stretched-out bubblegum.

So I felt the urge to draw a nerdy/awkward Doberman. She didn't turn out as awkward-looking as I planned, but still.

I feel like I should do something with this character now...
I imagine she has self-image issues, at least if she's in High School, since she'd be more scrawny than curvy, and would probably get teased...especially if her friends were smaller and/or fluffier animals...or maybe she doesn't care...

Anyway, I tried a new shading style. I still like my old way of highlighting though. HIGHLIGHTS!
